Giving and Receiving Effective Feedback

We have probably all had a negative experience of feedback at some time – either when we delivered it to someone else and it didn’t land the way we had intended or when we were on the receiving end of ineffective feedback that left us feeling confused, angry or upset. Or perhaps we didn’t receive any feedback at all, which made it difficult for us to know how we were progressing.

In this workshop, participants will: explore the value of both positive and developmental feedback and the impact of ineffective feedback; learn how to manage different responses to feedback; understand the role of mindset in giving and receiving feedback effectively; and work with a framework to support delivering effective feedback.

Participants will leave the session with increased skills and confidence and a simple model that can transform the way they deliver positive and constructive feedback to others.
